Watch the 2016 Untitled Symposium Below!
The BFA Department of Photography and Video and the School of Visual Arts present Untitled (Gender and Representation) 2016, a day-long symposium including Jennifer Blessing, Zackary Drucker and Zanele Muholi that seeks to address the complex conversations on gender that have dominated both high and low culture in the last several years and the ways in which representation has significantly participated in the discourse. In addition to photography, performance, entertainment and fashion, the broader cultural narrative will be discussed. The conference will include panels on queer histories and photography, gender outlaws, fashion and gender, transfeminism, and gender and performance.
